Strength in the saddle.
Peace in the heart.
For years, studies have estimated that 22 veterans take their own lives every day — a powerful reminder of the mental health crisis facing those who served. Veterans and first responders experience elevated rates of depression, PTSD, and chronic stress, putting them at higher risk without strong support systems.
We are building Warhorse Cavalry to help fight the silent battles our veterans and first responders face every day. Through equine-assisted programs, community connection, and purpose-driven ranch work, we will provide a place to process trauma, reduce stress, and restore hope — so fewer heroes become part of a preventable statistic.
Hope Starts in the Barn
Many of the horses we rescue come from abusive, neglectful, or inhumane conditions — some abandoned, some starved, and others saved from slaughter pipelines. At Warhorse Cavalry, we will give these horses a second chance at life, healing their bodies and rebuilding their trust so they can stand alongside the veterans and first responders who need them most.
Ready to be a part of the Cavalry?
This is a mission to save lives. Whether you give a few dollars to help us build and maintain the ranch, volunteer your time to care for horses, donate tack and other equine essentials or share our message to raise awareness, you are part of the solution. Every gift — big or small — moves us closer to a place where fewer veterans and first responders don’t fight their battles alone. Saddle up and be part of the Cavalry!
